This is apparently an !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Is $40,000 too much for someone's show car?

How much so I save by having him put the good looking wheels and tires back on?

CP.
With how tasteful and well finished everything is (except the wheels) still worth a chunk of change though. Love the M5 valance.

this car has never been listed at 40k. A feeler was put out as a "let's just see". That feeler was for 30k and received multiple offer from 25k to 27k. The car has 75k and has over 16k in upgrades and very difficult to find retrofits. Not to mention it's the ONLY stage 3 11psi m62tu. Dynoed hp is 462bhp and 445 tq. And that color is a factory color that was put on only 2 e38s. 1 750il individual and 1 740il individual. So ya . It's worth every penny.
Haters gon hate ;)

- The car was listed at $40k
- $16k in upgrades does not equal $16k in additional market value
- Beige is a terrible color; dem wheels is turrible too
- It's an E38. It's not collectible (yet), but even so, the E32 isn't a collectible car yet either so it's not like the value of this modified 7-series is going to skyrocket any time soon
I'm assuming you're the owner or a friend of the owner, in which case you're biased. Good for you for liking it, but $40k was ridiculous.
